About How2BuyCrypto

Plain-English guides to buying, sending and storing crypto. Our content is researched and written with AI, and every guide shows the sources behind it.

In short

  • Our guides are written with AI and fact-checked by a separate AI reviewer. The site's owner approves each change before it is published.
  • Every guide lists its sources and the date they were checked.
  • Some links may earn us a commission. It never decides what we cover.
  • Nothing on this site is financial advice.

What we do

How2BuyCrypto explains how to buy cryptocurrency in plain English: which kind of platform to use, what each step involves, what it costs and how to keep your coins safe afterward.

We write for people making their first purchase, not for traders. That means no price predictions, no hype and no jargon we do not explain.

How our content is made

The articles on this site are researched and written by AI. We are open about that because you deserve to know how the information you rely on was produced.

AI lets us cover many coins and update guides quickly when something changes, but only if it follows strict rules. Every article goes through the same process:

  1. Research from primary sources

The AI starts from official project documentation, regulators and established industry publications. Social media, forums and price-prediction sites are never used as sources.
  2. Follow strict writing rules

Plain English, and no invented numbers, fees, quotes or returns. If a fact cannot be verified in a source, it is left out.
  3. Show the sources

Each guide ends with a numbered list of the sources it relies on and the date they were checked, so you can verify the details yourself.
  4. Pass automated checks

Before a guide is published, automated checks confirm that it has a summary, sources and dates, follows our style rules and only links to pages that exist.
  5. Update when things change

When a network, a rule or a platform changes, the guide is updated and its date changes with it.

A separate AI reviewer checks the facts of each guide against its sources, and the owner of the site approves every change before it is published. No person checks the facts line by line. That is why every guide shows its sources, and why reports from readers matter so much to us.

What AI can get wrong

AI can misread a source, miss a very recent change or state something with more confidence than the source does. Crypto also changes quickly, so even a correct guide can go out of date.

How we make money

How2BuyCrypto is free to read. Some links on this site may be affiliate links: if you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Commissions never decide which platforms we cover, how we describe them or where they appear in a guide.

Not financial advice

Nothing on How2BuyCrypto is financial, legal or tax advice. Cryptoassets are volatile, and crypto payments usually lack the legal protections of card payments. You could lose all the money you invest, so only invest what you can afford to lose.
